CAD:cdsinitPrivate. A way to avoid exceeded quota

Some of you who are running the Daisy flow run into quota issues. The reason for this is mainly that the simulation results are stored in the $WORKAREA/work_$USER/sim area rather than in the /tmp/area. You can change this by going to

  • $WORKAREA/work_$USER/cds/

adding a file called

  • cdsinitPrivate

with the following row in it:

  • (envSetVal "asimenv.startup" "projectDir" 'string (strcat "/tmp/" (getShellEnvVar "USERAREA") "/sim"))

Now all sims will be stored in the temp area instead.
