TSTE85: Lecture 11 > 12

Today I was scheduled to give the lecture on analog/RF low power in the TSTE85 course, but unfortunately I had to cancel. Luckily Oscar gave his 12th lecture instead.

The 11th lecture is about transceivers and we will look at an example how to design for low power in such a system. We will also touch upon some of the basics of LNAs, mixers, VCOs, etc.

Also, I would like to give you a hint! Please look at:

where you will find my 130-page lecture notes for the course. Good luck Jim.

TSTE85: Low power electronics lectures

OK, so today it was my third lecture and from now on Oscar will be having six lectures. I will be back for some analog lectures towards the end.

Notice that there are some errors on the course home pages and that the latest slides are not found there. I will update the pages shortly.

Let me also – once again – remind you to be critical to what you read in the suggested journal papers. Reflect over the numbers they propose in the papers and how they relate to “modern” processes, etc.
